My mission is to make the instant pot easy for you, so don’t let yourself get overwhelmed. If you wanna know which one I’d choose if I bought one today, it would be the LUX or the Duo Plus.
1. Instant Pot Duo
The original Instant pot that has turned millions into faithful pressure cooking fans. This is the one I own and love. The Duo comes in a 3qt mini, 6 qt and 8 qt sizes. (I use the 8 qt)
2. Instant Pot Duo Plus
It has a few extra features compared to the original duo, but best part of the Plus is that the vent is automatic.
3. Instant Pot Duo Crisp
The greatest addition compared to the basic model is the air fryer part.
4. Mueller 6 Qt Electric Pressure Cooker
This isn’t the original brand, but boasts a lot of features and accessories and comes highly rated.
5. Instant Pot Smart Wifi
This is a high tech instant pot that connects to WIFI so you can control it from anywhere. It also allows you to download hundreds of pre-programmed recipes and alerts your smart phone when it’s done.
6. Instant Pot Duo Ultra
It comes with a dial for easy programming, more safety features, and 21 pre-set temperature programs.
7. NuWave Duet Pressure Cooker
Another off-brand cooker, but don’t let this fool you. The Nuwave combines pressure cooking and air frying, and comes with digital controls and sure lock lid technology.
8. Instant Pot Duo Nova
This pretty much replaces the basic Duo, as it is simple but has the updated, automatic venting system and one touch digital programming.
9. Crockpot 8qt XL Multi Cooker
A highly rated, off-brand multi-cooker. Its inner pot is non stick coated and it has a large capacity.
10. Zavor LUX
This isn’t getting the last place because it’s in any way inferior to the other pots. The Lux comes in several sizes, 33 preprogrammed settings (including Sous Vide, which makes me want this!), and even works as a traditional stock pot.

Depending on what brand and size you buy, make sure you purchase the right accessories, but most of them are interchangeable.
